Se puede considerar que diplomacia deportiva no es algo solamente
que descanse en el ámbito simbólico cultural, sino que realmente tiene
repercusiones al momento de utilizarla como una herramienta diplomática,
como cualquier otra que se utiliza en dichas acciones. El hecho de haber
escuchado Palestina libre en voz de los aficionados brasileños en el metro
de Doha, mientras se dirigían a su partido contra Camerún, o en los partidos
entre Marruecos y Bélgica, Túnez versus Australia o Túnez ante Francia, entre
muchos otros, habla un poco de por qué Palestina es un ejemplo exitoso de la
paradiplomacia deportiva, ya que aún no es un Estado pleno en el concierto
de las naciones.
